Sixth and seventh grade students will be working with Music and Sound to design their own music, create instruments and music videos all while learning how technology is used in the music industry. Eigth grades will work with Game Design to program their own video games using code and computer science.
If your student is interested please have them see Mrs. Baldwin or Mrs. Hare. The camp will run every Tuesday and Thursday April 22 - May 15 from 4:05PM - 5:20PM.
Led by qualified educators, this fun, engaging, hands-on camp is being offered by the STEM Center at The Citadel through a grant from Google. This exciting program is being offered for rising 6th-8th graders.
Student participants will collect and process different types of eveidence typically left at a crime scene. This week long camp will include several aspects of forensic science:
- Observation and documnetation skills
- Crime scene investigation
- Fingerprint analysis
- Document analysis
- Critical thinking
- Submission of evidence to a court
Session 2 July 28-Aug 1, 2014 from 9AM - 3:30PM (Co-ed)
